Skills? Empty Skills?

I was thinking about having skills that you might need for particular jobs. For example, there will be an university where one could go and study to gain intelligence. A bar should display how much intelligence one have and apply for different kind of jobs.

Another skill maybe 'strenght'. You train at the gym to apply for a job where people who are physically built could apply for a job, example a soldier.

Maybe we should have cooking? (Well it won't be very adaptable due to lack of actions in the game Crying or Very sad) Well these 'skills' depend on what kind of jobs there are going to be available.

What do you think? Or then it will be too... you know...

That's a fairly good idea. I'm not sure if the scripters can actually do it though, but if they can, it's a pretty good idea.

Once I went in a server where the fuel of the car was displayed in a bar rather then percentage, at the bottom of the screen. Oviously, if there will be many 'skills' it will fill up the screen. We could use the chat like this:

Strenght: | | | | | _ _ _ _ _
Intelligence: | _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (<- lool what an idiot tongue )
Cooking: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

| = 1 value
_ = empty value

Or maybe we use fractions?
Strenght: 5/10

Intelligence: 1/10

Cooking: 0/10

Might become too "RPGish" I'd say.

Maybe simply an "experience" level for the jobs you'd want to pick up. Different categories of jobs like "manual", "illegal", "technologies". And you'd have skills in each category.

Not sure we want to make it too much RPGish
